JENELLE
SOSA (Actor #1, including Fan and Belle)--
returns to Tri-State for her third season reprising her role as Belle
and others in
A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
She debuted with Tri-State as Maria in Season 2007's critically

marking her fourth appearance in the Dicken's classic at Tri-State. Ms.
Tame
has worked
extensively with the Tri-State
playing Catherine in 2009's acclaimed
production of
PROOF, Laura in Tennessee Williams'
THE GLASS MENAGERIE, Olivia
in
TWELFTH NIGHT,
Stella in
A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE
and of course,
several roles in
A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
She
has performed
in staged readings for the New Plays Reading
Series at Tri-State including HANDICAPPING by James McLindon,
GEOGRAPHY by Anne Phelan, and the new comedy,
ENGAGEMENT RULES
by Ron Orloff.
Recent credits include
Elma in BUS STOP
at the Hampton Theatre Company and
Agnes in
SCHOOL FOR WIVES
at Centenary Stage Company.
Miss Tame also
participated in The International Emmy World Television Festival in New York
City where she was directed by John Wooten, playing the role of Maggie in
Felicity Carpenter's award winning script: TOUCHING PEOPLE.

New York credits include the world premiere of MYTH at Columbia
University
and numerous
showcases
at Gotham Comedy Club and Theater 22. Favorite

Tri-State's hit musical comedy,

Billy has been

new play readings. He works as an actor throughout the the tri-state area
& has also been seen in the Bickford Theatre's CATCH ME IF YOU CAN and
SYLVIA, The Women's Theatre Company's LETTING GO and The Growing
Stage's THE BIG FRIENDLY GIANT. He was a featured comic star in
VAUDEVILLE AT THE GINMILL in NYC. He also performs for Historic Philadelphia as one
of their colonial interpreters, playing roles of Timothy Matlack & John Adams.
Billy has performed with various improvisational comedy & interactive
groups as well as performing in the theme park realm at both Busch Gardens,VA &
Universal Studios,CA. His film credits include MAID IN MANHATTAN and
ACROSS THE UNIVERSE. Thanks to the Meachams for always letting me work here,

Jack Harris is delighted to
return to Tri State Actors Theater for a second season in 2009'S
A CHRISTMAS CAROL,
and is feeling very much at home for the holidays. A veteran theater
professional, Jack, has worked extensively at the Shadowland Theatre in
Ellenville, New York, where he has performed in AMERICAN BUFFALO (Teach), BLACK COMEDY (Harold),
THE CRIPPLE OF INNISHMAN (Babbybobby), WAIT UNTIL DARK (Roat),
HEDDA GABLER (Lovborg), THE COMPLEAT WKS of WM SHAKESPEARE, abridg'd
(Romeo, many others), LONE STAR (Roy), KEELY AND DU
(Cole), and A SHAYNA MAIDEL (Duvid). Other stage
credits include Lee in TRUE WEST (Chenango River Theater),
Eddie in HURLY BURLY (Passionplace Theater), Brian in YOUR
FATHER OWNED A REINDEER (Turnip Festival Theater), Ishmael in MOBY
DICK-REHEARSED (Byrdcliffe Festival Theater), Jake in A LIE OF THE
MIND (Rhinebeck Theatre Society), Peter in ZOO STORY (American
Theatre Company), Daisy in BABY WITH THE BATHWATER (New Paltz
Summer Rep.) As an actor with the acclaimed Mohonk Mountain Stage Company Jack
performed in residence at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and
the Brooklyn Academy of Music in such productions as THE JUNGLE BOOK (Balloo)
and ANDROCLES AND THE LION (Lion). Jack also works behind the scenes
(and occasionally camera) as a director, producer, writer, etc. He currently
serves as Production Manager at the Shadowland Theater, where he is also hard at
work organizing the upcoming, first ever, Ulster County High School Playwrights
Festival. He is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association and Alpha Psi
Omega, the National Honorary Theatre Society.

PAUL
MEACHAM* (Actor #6, Scrooge)-- Mr. Meacham returns as
Scrooge in 2009 for the sixth season and will direct a new adaptation of
A CHRISTMAS CAROL
for this holiday season.
He is the founder and artistic
director of Tri-State Actors Theater, most recently directing Tri-State's PROOF
and
THE
TURN OF THE SCREW.
Mr. Meacham performed
Off-Broadway with Frank Langella and Diane Wiest in Arthur Miller's
AFTER
THE FALL;
as Teddy Roosevelt in
FIGHTING BOB, was Dr. Seward in
the long-running hit, THE PASSION OF DRACULA; and was a member
of the acting company of the Classic Stage Company (two years), playing
featured roles in TWELFTH NIGHT, THE TEMPEST, THE HOMECOMING, THE LADY'S
NOT FOR BURNING, WOYZECK, ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDERNSTERN ARE DEAD and
others. He was a founding member of the innovative WPA Theater, where he
acted and directed for five seasons including directing the musical,
CHARLATANS,
for
which he wrote the book and lyrics, and Tevia Abrams' AND NO CEREMONY.
On television, he has appeared in commercials and on "soaps," including
ONE
LIFE TO LIVE and ALL MY CHILDREN. He adapted and produced
Edgar Allen Poe's WILLIAM WILSON for public television. His films
include PRINCE OF THE CITY and others. He has performed coast to
coast in theaters including Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Barter
Theater; Pennsylvania Stage; Cohoes Music Hall; George Street Playhouse;
Virginia Stage; Missouri Repertory Theater and New Jersey Shakespeare
Festival. Since founding Tri-State Actors Theater in 1988, he has appeared as John Barrymore
in
I HATE HAMLET, and Stanley in the world premiere of
ERICA'S
LAST MISSION by Tevia
Abrams.
He has staged many productions for Tri-State in its twenty-two
seasons, including the world professional premieres of Sean O'Leary's
RAIN IN THE HOLLOWS, Tevia Abrams' THE
VIEW FROM HARRY'S BAR, and Judylee Oliva's
ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR.
He was the featured performer in Tri-State's solo reading of Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL
in the 2004 holiday season. He
began TAT's New Plays Reading Series in 2000, and has appeared in and directed many play-readings for
the Series. Mr. Meacham is a member of Actors
Equity Association, AFTRA, and Screen Actors Guild. He is
proud that Tri-State Actors Theater is a vital part of the Sussex
renaissance. |
