MICHAEL GABIANO (Serge)-- ART
marks Mr. Gabiano's debut on the TAT stage. Recent NYC Credits include
AWAKEN
THE WOLVES (Raw Space; Spotlight On Productions), SMORGASBORD!
(Duplex Cabaret Theatre),
BACKSTAGE BITCHES (78th St. Theatre Lab),
CUTE
BOYS IN THEIR UNDERPANTS (Vortex Theater Co./Sanford Meisner Theater).
He is a company member of both NJ Repertory Company and 12 Miles West Theatre.
With NJ Rep he was featured in IMMORTAL INTERLUDE, THE GIANT PRINCESS,
and RAFT OF THE MEDUSA. Other regional roles include Salieri (AMADEUS),
Jeffrey
(JEFFREY), and
Tony (LOVER: THE VALENTINO MUSICAL).
Mr. Gabiano has toured nationally with TheatreWorks/USA and National Theatre
for the Performing Arts, and was seen in the film, HIT AND RUN AWAY. His
favorite roles include Feste (TWELFTH NIGHT), David/Crumpet
(THE
SANTALAND DIARIES), and Noble, et al (LITTLE ME). He holds a
BA in Theatre from Western CT State University and is a member of Actors
Equity Association. |
BRIAN O'HALLORAN (Yvan)-- will
play Yvan in Yasmina Reza's ART
this season. He has performed in numerous theater and film productions.
His theater credits include:
FOUR DOGS AND A BONE, TRANSLATIONS, DANCING
AT LUGHNASA, SYLVIA, WAIT UNTIL DARK, THE GLASS MENAGERIE, THE DRESSER,
DRACULA, and CRIMES OF THE HEART. As a member of NJ Rep, he
starred in A WORLD I NEVER MADE and AN UNHAPPY WOMAN. Brian
is most recognized for his work in films. His credits include Kevin Smith's
CLERKS,
MALLRATS, CHASING AMY, DOGMA, and JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK.
He currently can be seen in theaters in the film VULGAR. He starred
in the animated TV series CLERKS, which is being made into a feature film.
He was last seen on the Tonight Show in the short film THE FLYING CAR.
He can be seen next in the romantic comedy DROP DEAD ROSES, due
to be released later this year. |
DAVID VOLIN (Marc)-- joined
the acting company in his inaugural 2001 season with featured roles in
two productions--
the Lawyer in ERICA'S
LAST MISSION, a new play by Tevia Abrams, and Grover,
the
Yeti, Alphonse and others in ON
THE VERGE, or The Geography of Yearning, by Eric
Overmyer. Mr.Volin's credits include Alan,
RAFT
OF THE MEDUSA (New Jersey Repertory Company);
Hugh, TRANSLATIONS,
and Mr. Paravincini,THE MOUSETRAP (Shadow Lawn Summer Stage);
Otto Frank, THE STORY OF ANNE FRANK; Yank,
THE HAIRY APE;
Roxy
Gottlieb, GOLDEN BOY; Marquis De Sade, MARAT/SADE; several plays
for the White Buffalo Theatre Company and the Chekhov Acting Company, and
others. He has several films to his credit, including leads in FIDELIO
and THE CODE. He is a graduate of NYU with a BFA in Drama, and has
studied acting with Julie Garfield, Beatrice Straight, and Ted Pugh; and
improvisation with Judy Nazemetz and Christopher Oyen. Prior
to joining TAT's acting company, Mr. Volin spent two months with the Bloomsberg
Theatre Ensemble performing in ARCADIA by Tom Stoppard. He has acted
with The Growing Stage, and most recently was featured in NJ Rep's
acclaimed production of THE LARAMIE PROJECT. Mr. Volin is a member
of Actors Equity Association. Mr. Volin will be featured in TAT's
production os the Tony-award winning comedy-drama, ART,
in season 2002. |
KEN WIESINGER (Director)-- Over
the past decade, Mr. Wiesinger has acted, produced, and directed in regional
theatres, summer stock, and national tours. As a resident director
for New Jersey Repertory Company, he staged the 10th anniversary production
of RAFT OF THE MEDUSA, and directed the New Jersey premiere of THE
LARAMIE PROJECT, which drew universal critical acclaim, including the
critical praise from the NJ Star-Ledger and the New York Times.
Staged readings for NJRep include SLAVE SHACK and THE SPANISH
JADE. Other directing credits include TheatreworksUSA's
AROUND
THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS; YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU; ROMEO AND JULIET; THE
ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN NEATO-MAN, and the professional premiere of STATE
OF MIND. ART marks Mr.
Wiesinger's directing debut with Tri-State Actors Theater. |
