JEANNE
L. AUSTIN ("A")-- Ms.
Austin, a member of Actors' Equity Association,has played in regional,
stock, and dinner theaters, in roles ranging from Rosalind
in
AS
YOU LIKE IT at Theatre Project Company, St. Louis, to Big Mama
in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF at Oakland West Dinner Theatre, Ft. Lauderdale.
Ms. Austin is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American
Federation of Television and Radio Artists. She has made commercials for
both radio and television and was in the TV mini-series WOMEN IN WHITE
and had featured roles in the motion pictures
THE FUNHOUSE and STUKEY'S
LAST STAND. She recently completed principal photography as the mother
in Flying Cloud Films' MOTHER AND CHILD. Since 1984, she has been
producing and performing one-woman plays for HerStory Productions, a creative
partnership with her husband, Peter Nadolny. Ms. Austin is currently director
of the One Accord Choir, a group sponsored by the Sussex County Association
for Retarded Citizens. She also trains and performs with an educational
puppet troupe, Kids on the Block, which presents puppet plays in schools.
A member of the acting company of TAT since 1992, Ms. Austin has played
Maggie
Murphy in DANCING AT LUGHNASA,Ruth
in MARVIN'S ROOM, and
Amanda
in THE GLASS MENAGERIE.
Besides portraying "A" in Edward Albee's THREE
TALL WOMEN, Ms. Austin's was also featured this season
as the Narrator in TAT's A
CHRISTMAS CAROL . |
MARY CLIFFORD("B")--
a member of Actors Equity Association, is appearing for the first time
with Tri-State Actors Theater. Ms. Clifford has appeared in many
productions off-Broadway and in regional theater and summer stock.
Off-Broadway she played Elena in UNCLE VANYA,
Mrs.
X in THE STRONGER and She
in THE ASTEROID, among others.
In regional theaters and summer stock she was Viola in TWELFTH
NIGHT, Irina in Chehov's THE
THREE SISTERS, Raina in Shaw's ARMS
AND THE MAN, and Elenor in THE
LION IN WINTER. She has acted and sung leading
roles in musicals including Amy in COMPANY,
Evie
in STOP THE WORLD, I WANT TO GET OFF,
and Sarah in GUYS AND DOLLS.
Ms. Clifford was featured as the Moll opposite Dick Shawn in THE
CRADLE WILL ROCK under the direction of Howard Bay.
She holds an MFA in acting from Brandeis University, where she studied
under Theodore Kazanoff. She studied directing with Aaron Frankel
in New York and is currently an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Bergen
County Community College, where she is also a resident artistic director.
Besides acting the role of "B" in TAT's THREE
TALL WOMEN, Ms. Clifford also directed the Actors Theater production
of THE COMPLEAT WORKS OF WLLM SHKSPR, abridged,
which opened in July. |
SOPHIE DOBSON("C")--
played "C" in Edward Albee's THREE TALL
WOMEN this season, Ms. Dobson has trained
with the Experimental Acting program of New York University's School of
Theatre and is currently studying theater production at County College
of Morris. She joined TAT/RST as a member of the Intern Company
in the revival of CHARLOTTE'S
WEB. She was a featured player in the following season's STUART
LITTLE, and joined the Professional Company in a moving portrayal as
Laura
Wingfield in THE GLASS
MENAGERIE. Before joining TAT this season, Ms. Dobson appeared in the
CCM Theatre production of MACBETH.
She was featured in ANYTHING GOES, and
portrayed Olivia in TWELFTH NIGHT.
Ms. Dobson directed and acted in the WALLKILL VALLEY PLAYWRIGHTS
FESTIVAL for several seasons. She is a graduate of
Wallkill Valley Regional High School, and is a lifetime member of The
International Thespian Society. |
MICHAEL BROSS
(the BOY)-- began
his acting career with Tri-State Actors Theater when it was still Ranger
Summer Theater. Now a seasoned performer, Mr. Bross played the central
role of Ebenezer Scrooge in TAT's recent holiday production of Dickens'
A
CHRISTMAS CAROL. As an intern, Mr. Bross played the title role
in THE ADVENTURES OF BRER
RABBIT and was a featured performer in the E.B. White classic,
CHARLOTTE'S
WEB. He appeared in Pax Amicus Theatre's production of the musical,
TOMMY,
was Dale Harding In Sussex County Community College's ONE
FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, Napthali in CCM
Theatre's JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAM COAT
and Sir Sagamore in CAMELOT. He
was a featured player in County College of Morris' presentation of Shakespeare's
MACBETHearlier
this season. |
